Sacred Ascension

Behold an intriguing creation, a confluence of bygone industry and fantastical imagination. This Motor Punk-inspired lamp presents itself as a relic from an alternative reality where invention and artistry collide. Its central feature is a halo, enigmatic and circular, reminiscent of an engine's heartbeat, from which spark plugs extend outward like rays of an otherworldly sun. At the nucleus of this marvel stands Hotrod Jesus, a small figurine extracted from an antique Last Rights Box, adorned with a brass skull head and wearing a brass motorcycle helmet, steadfast and seemingly heroic in its endeavor to support the grand structure above. The base, robust and ornate, mimics the intricate design of ancient gears, grounding the piece with an air of mechanical majesty. Above it all, a decorative bulb rests, casting a warm, flickering glow that echoes the vintage and industrial spirit imbued throughout the piece. A truly mystifying element of this creation lies in its components: an antique Ford Model A piston and rod are exalted upon an old brass lamp base. Surrounding this core, a brass-colored halo adorned with spark plugs crowns the assembly. Topping it all is an enchanting brass light fixture, its flicker flame bulb whispering tales of yesteryear's innovation. This lamp, an ode to "Hotrod Jesus," is both homage and wonder, a testament to the timeless dance of form and inspiration.
